At Your Throne
A hymn on Christ as King. I wrote it while thinking about Cair Paravel in the Narnia series so I wanted it to have a very royal tone to it. The melody follows that same tone I think. As far as melody and lyricism matching in that way, this is probably the closest I’ve come to accomplishing that.
Hallowed Be Thy Name
A hymn on Trinitarianism written during my time at Asbury Theological Seminary.
The Parsonage
This is a folk song I wrote about my grandparents house, what it meant to me, and how God used it (as well as their ministry of course).
Holy Substitute
A hymn on thanksgiving, specifically for the substitutionary aspect of atonement, from Thessalonians 5. I wrote this during my time at Asbury Theological Seminary. I was asked to lead worship for the Wesleyan dinner during thanksgiving and found there to be a lack of thanksgiving hymns, so I wrote this one.
Great is the Lord
A hymn for times of persecution. I wrote this at my sisters house in Lakeland FL (She did not persecute me. Purely coincidence lol).
Majesty Divine
A hymn on the providence of God, inspired by the book, Robinson Crusoe, by Daniel Defoe.
Just Resting
A hymn on the peace that comes from trusting God. This was my first hymn. It was written right after Christmas 2019, the day my Grammi passed away. “I’m just resting, resting in His love”, were words of hers close to that moment.
This New Heart
A hymn on the three stages of sanctification in accordance with the Wesleyan tradition.
