Hallowed Be Thy Name

Our dear Father, why we sing. Transcendent o’er everything.

Sender of Your only Son, though my wretched works be done.

Reconciling close to You those believing in the Truth.

Sovereign King of perfect will, mighty ev’n on calvary hill.

Salvations through You alone. Bow I now before Your throne.

Holy ideal, Yet a Friend. To praise Your Name is my chief end.

Holy Spirit, Breath of God. Deserving of highest laud.

Bolden me and keep me sane. Stir those slumbering chords again.

Precious, sanctifying One. With and in till race be run.

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, glorify Thy Name.

Through my life and in my death for one is Christ, the latter gain.

Holy Triune God Beloved, Lion never tame.

My light, Your inerrant breath, o hallowed, hallowed be Thy Name.
